This style of yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda. Hatha focuses on the physical postures. There is with much emphasis on relaxation. It involves regular periods of Savasana and yogic breathing techniques, or pranayama.

Start your day with mindful movement in this gentle yoga class. Open to all levels of yoga and mobility, this class is focused on connecting with the breath and making space in the body. Join Mariel for ten classes this fall that will ease tension, build strength and flexibility, and promote relaxation. Props are available at the studio or you can bring your own if you prefer. Participants must be fully vaccinated and pre-registration for all ten classes is required.
