DESCRIPTION:Summer is almost here! Sun Studio is excited to announce that the Yoga & Art Summer Camps for children return again this July. Two weeks of movement\, storytelling\, art\, outdoor activities and fun! Each week is themed differently. Don’t wait with registration to secure a spot. Limited availability. Check out the details below. \nKIDS SUMMER ART & YOGA CAMP – WEEK 1\n \nZen & Mindfulness\nJoin us for a week of yoga\, stories\, art\, mindfulness activities and outdoor time. This week kids construct and decorate their own personal zen garden using wood and natural materials. We will also create a small felt bowl to hold items for the zen garden and do other drawing and colouring activities related to the theme of mindfulness. (These are multiple day art activities.) \nDATE(S): July 8 – July 12 \nDAY(S): Monday – Friday \nTIME(S): 8:45 am – 12:15 pm \nCOST: $220 including art materials (Siblings receive 10% discount)/Limited space available! \nAGE(S): Open to kids who have completed kindergarten to grade 6 \nINSTRUCTOR: Karen Walhout \nTo register for WEEK 1 [click here] \nTo register a SIBLING [click here] \n\nKIDS SUMMER ART & YOGA CAMP – WEEK 2\n \nMasks & Puppets\nJoin Karen & Julia for yoga\, stories and songs\, followed by a snack and outdoor break. For an art project\, participants create and decorate sock puppets and masks . The masks and puppets will then be used in play\, story telling or dance\, making simple backgrounds and props as needed.
