DESCRIPTION:Girl’s Basketball with Coach Katie Willmot (Grades 3 to 6)\n\nThe Gudangaay Tlaats’gaa Naay Secondary Girl’s basketball team will be helping to run a young girls’ basketball program in Masset with Coach Katie Willmot! Come out and learn basic basketball skills and play games with friends! \nDate(s):  October 2 – 30\, 2023 (no program on stat holidays) \nDay(s): Mondays & Wednesdays \nAge(s): Grades 3 to 6 \nTime(s): 5:30 – 7:30PM \nLocation: Tahayghen Elementary\, Masset \nInstructor: Katie Wilmot \nCost: $40 \nWhat to bring: runners\, shorts\, t-shirt\, water bottle! Max participation is 30 youth (2 instructors). \nCancellation Policy: \n\nIf registration cancellation occurs 5 days (120 hours) prior to the start of the first class\, 100% of the cost of registration will be refunded.\nIf registration cancellation occurs 2 (48 hours) days prior to the start of the first class\, 60% of the cost of registration will be refunded.\nIf registration cancellation occurs after the start of the first class\, but before the start of the second class\, 30% of the cost of registration will be refunded.\nIf registration cancellation occurs after the start of the second class\, the cost of registration will not be refunded.\nIf a participant is unable to attend a class due to illness or the presence of COVID-19 symptoms\, the cost of the class will be returned upon request in writing to Haida Gwaii Recreation.\n\n\nCOVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES \nStaying safe is a shared responsibility. These procedures and our combined efforts help to lower the risk of spreading COVID-19\, but there is still a risk. \nPlease do your best to abide by these new procedures to ensure we can recreate safely and respectfully together on Haida Gwaii. \n
