SCIENCE AL!VE – SUMMER CAMP –MASSET/GAW TLAGÉE (AUG 14-18)
Science Al!ve, c/o Simon Fraser University’s Faculty of Applied Sciences, aims to dispel stereotypes in the field of science and engineering and work towards achieving diversity and inclusion. Our programs create a safe space for participants to explore experiential STEAM education and develop an understanding of how STEAM is all around us. In each session, participants will be faced with a ‘challenge’ that they work together and solve, all while exploring a concept within STEAM and directly applying it.

Hello! My name is Madison (she/ they) and I am an Outreach Coordinator with Science Al!ve. I am passionate about creating spaces for kids to explore their interests and expand possibilities. I’ve worked with children for 15+ years and I love to learn from them, and alongside them, in programming. Outside of work, you can find me swimming, biking, running, or hiking with my one-eyed dog Rey.
