PHOTO-JOURNAL-ART
In this program, you will have a chance to learn about storytelling, interviewing, photography, and more. Over six sessions, you will work with Instructors and Guests to turn your lens on your own community and create art and writing that tell the stories that are important to you. Explore social justice issues and learn how to use art and writing to be an advocate for change. Work as part of a team to publish a single-edition newspaper. Select pieces will even appear in the Haida Gwaii Observer!
If you can, feel free to bring a camera/phone/tablet to take photos and work with at home to start creating your voice.
