“The fastest growing sport in North America”. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.

LOCATION: Gudangaay Tlaats’gaa Naay Secondary School Gymnasium
COST: Drop-in fee of $2.00 paid to the school for use of space & equipment.
AGE(S): 16 and up*
- ALL attendees must show proof of vaccination
- Masks must be worn by all attendees in halls/washrooms.
- Please bring indoor shoes.
- Children 12 and under are not permitted in the gym at any time
- No alcohol, smoking/vaping, drugs or violence permitted on school property
Your BC vaccine card indicating full vaccination is required upon entry during the first week of program (November 1st). Everyone aged 19+ must show government-issued photo ID with their proof of vaccination. Only QR code cards accepted (printed O.K.)!

Until HG Rec directly approves your proof of vaccination and adds you to a sport roster shared with the school and our organizers, you are not permitted entry.
